Web voters say the results of the recent General Property Reassessment will have the most impact in 2011 of County government actions.

In a poll taken from December 27 through January 24, 58 percent of web voters say results of Property Reappraisal will have the greatest impact to them in 2011. A distant second was the adoption of the FY ’12 budget at 19 percent and third was upgrades to the water and wastewater in Caroline County at 12 percent.

Redistricting of the election districts received five percent of the vote; and reduction in FRED bus service and completion of the Route 652 road project rounded out the survey with three percent each.

A total of 156 responses were received.

Visitors to the Caroline County government website, www.visitcaroline.com, are invited to participate in web polls regardless of whether they are Caroline County residents or not. Only one vote per visitor is requested.
