Good Old-Fashioned Water
Favorite Beverage for Web Voters
A good, old-fashioned drink of water is the choice of web voters to get relief from the extreme temperatures.
In an online poll sponsored by Caroline County government taken July 26-August 9, a total of 42 percent of web voters prefer water to any other beverage when quenching their thirsts. Iced tea was the second choice at 33 percent and cold beer was third at 11 percent. A soft drink garnered support from eight percent of the internet users, while other beverages received six percent of the vote. Nobody chose wine coolers as their choice.
A total of 181 responses were received.
Visitors to the Caroline County government website, www.visitcaroline.com, are invited to participate in web polls regardless of whether they are Caroline County residents or not. Only one vote per visitor is requested.
