A public meeting on the progress of the General Reassessment of property in Caroline County will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 8 at the Community Services Center.

Representatives from Blue Ridge Appraisals will make a power point presentation on the process and how it is evolving in Caroline County. A question and answer session will follow. This presentation will not reveal values of property to those in attendance, but will answer questions as to how values will be derived. It will also explain the appeals process in the event property owners don’t agree with their assessment when they receive them at the end of the year.

The meeting is open to all land owners in Caroline County.
