New Supervisor Underwood
To Be Sworn in February 18
Newly-appointed supervisor Reggie Underwood will receive his oath of office on Friday, February 18 in a special ceremony at the Caroline County Annex Courthouse.
Underwood, appointed last Tuesday night by the Board of Supervisors, will fill the unexpired term of Maxie Rozell, who stepped down from his Reedy Church District seat January 18. The ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on the second floor of the Annex Courthouse.
Underwood is a longtime educator and business owner. He was chosen out of a pool of eight candidates who expressed interest in the position. Following discussion in Closed Session, the Board of Supervisors approved Underwood by a unanimous vote.
Underwood will be sworn into office by Caroline County Clerk of the Circuit Court Ray Campbell. A reception will follow the ceremony.
