(Bowling Green, VA) – Caroline County has received an unqualified audit for Fiscal Year 2009, which covers the period of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. An unqualified audit indicates that the auditor believes the County followed all accounting rules appropriately and that the financial reports are an accurate representation of its financial condition.

“It is the first priority of County government to be fiscally responsible with the funds provided us by the taxpayers,” commented County Administrator Percy Ashcraft. “We are very pleased to have received an audit report that keeps us in good standing and complies with proper accounting principles.”
