The Reluctant Dragon - Children's Theater

Description: A boy who “reads too much” encounters a dragon that would rather write poetry than breathe fire. Their secret friendship flourishes until the celebrated dragon slayer St. George visits the town. Eager for some excitement, the townspeople tell some very tall tales about their local dragon. St. George vows to slay the dragon, however, the boy and the dragon convince St. George to participate in a delightful compromise. This adaptation of Grahame’s classic tale is rich with harmony and musical whimsy. Recommended age: 5+
