Bowling Green Town Council Votes to Cancel Annual Harvest Festival

COUNTY TO PARTIALLY REOPEN OFFICES TO THE PUBLIC ON JUNE 1, 2020

Caroline County government buildings are closed to public access.  We encourage all citizens to take advantage of pay online opportunities.  For now, staff will be available by phone at the regular numbers you normally use.  We have eliminated all late fees through the month of March in an attempt to get ahead of issues that most certainly will arise in this shift.

All Caroline Library Branches are Closed to the Public but will reopen July 6. Curbside library service will resume on June 1 Monday through Friday at most branches.  Phone assistance will be available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday at the Bowling Green, Dawn, and Ladysmith branches.  E-books, digital magazines, and audiobooks are available 24/7 through Overdrive, RBDigital, and EBSCO eBooks, all accessible for FREE with your library card on our website.

The Caroline County Visitor Center is Closed to the Public Until Further Notice

The Caroline County Economic Development Authority is postponing the annual Business Appreciation Reception until such time it is safe to hold the event. The Authority wants to be able to celebrate Caroline businesses, and bring us all together. However, we have to wait for the right time when we can meet.

Until then, shop in Caroline, take advantage of our great carry out restaurants, services like dry cleaners, and other shops that carry the necessities we rely on.

The CVHS Caroline Children’s Dental Program is open and welcoming patients back to their clinic. They’ve missed their wonderful patients and families, and are concerned that many children have missed their regular dental appointments due to the pandemic. Preventive care is more important than ever to keep your child’s teeth healthy. A toothache is a terrible thing for anyone, especially a child.
They welcome new and existing patients age 1-19 years and accept Medicaid, private insurance and no insurance. Based on income, a sliding fee scale is available for those with no insurance. They are following all national and state guidelines for infection control to keep their patients, families and their staff safe during these difficult times. Please call today for more information or to schedule an appointment.
They are located in the Caroline Health Department building. Their phone number is (804) 632-8006, ext. 1.
