Drama Camp

Description: Is there a “Star” in you? Participants will gain self-confidence and creative self-expression through improvisation, mime, script reading and vocal development while building their knowledge about the “ins and outs” of live performance theater. The class will cover a number of basic areas for success in theater including: proper etiquette for theater actors and audiences, stage direction, understanding the difference between a story and a play, types of plays and theater, learning lines, character development, singing and choreography.

Ages: 8 - 13

Dates: July 28 & 30; August 4 & 6, 2020 (Tuesdays & Thursdays for 2 weeks)

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Location: Ladysmith Community Center Gym
