We offer services in a respectful and compassionate manner to encourage self-sufficiency and promote family stability.

Assistance

You can apply online for SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, Childcare, and Energy Assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also apply by calling 855-635-4370 Monday-Friday 7am-6pm. Paper applications are available for pick up outside our front door, or one will be mailed to you on the day you contact the agency.

Need a replacement EBT card? Call 866-281-2448 or contact our agency.

Completed applications, renewals, verifications, or any other documents can be placed in our agency drop box (gray box located on side of building by parking lot), faxed, mailed, or emailed directly to your worker.

Please use the agency directory on this website to find your worker's phone number and email address. Staff will return messages within 2 business days.

Report Abuse

To report child or adult abuse or neglect please contact our agency at 804-633-5071 and press 0 during normal business hours. After hours, you may call the Virginia Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 800-552-7096.

Mandated reporters may submit non-emergency child protective services reports anytime via the reporter portal at https://vacps.dss.virginia.gov/VACPSWeb/faces/landingPage.xhtml
