Public Information Meeting

Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.

Port Royal Volunteer Fire Station, 435 King Street, Port Royal, VA  22535

Join VDOT to learn more about the transportation planning study being conducted along the Route 301 and Route 207 corridor.  The study area covers approximately 42 miles and stretches from the Carmel Church area in Caroline County to the Potomac River just north of Dahlgren located in King George County.

Stop by to meet the study team and review preliminary recommendations for improving safety and travel efficiency along this busy primary corridor. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format.  No formal presentation will be delivered.

The study seeks to identify recommendations for intersection improvements and access management along the Route 301 and Route 207 corridor to improve the state's arterial highway network while accommodating economic development.
