DEA Take Back Day/Operation Medicine Cabinet

Caroline County, Virginia – Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Caroline
County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA),
will be conducting a prescription drug take back day. Citizens can use this as an
opportunity to turn in any unused or expired medication for safe disposal. The purpose of
the take back is to prevent pill abuse and theft by allowing citizens to rid their home of
potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

This is strictly anonymous, no questions asked.
Sharps (needles) will only be accepted at the Ladysmith location, provided by Mary Washington Hospital.
