Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department Community Day and Wet-Down of New Engine 5

The Caroline County Department of Fire and Rescue is excited to announce the arrival of a new fire engine at Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department.  This new truck meets the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1901 standards for a Pumper, Initial Attack, and Mobile Water Tender apparatus.  It includes a number of new safety features such as side and roll-over bags and improved emergency and scene lighting.  This new engine has seating for six firefighters and carries 1,000 gallons of water.  It replaces a 1993 truck at the end of its service life.

Please help us celebrate by joining us for a Community Day and Wet-Down Ceremony for the new engine on August 25, 2018.

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Location: Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department, 30240 Richmond Turnpike, Hanover, VA  23069.
