[ARCHIVED] Mattaponi Dist. Supervisor Floyd Thomas Seeks Citizen Interest for Social Services Board Appointment

Mattaponi District Supervisor Floyd Thomas is seeking interested individuals from the Mattaponi District to fill one appointment to the Social Services Board. Appointments are for terms of four years.

The Social Services Board provides local control and policy direction for the local Social Services Department. The Board approves County budget requests, assists with personnel issues, approves compensation plan (salary actions) for the State, approves requests for adoption subsidy payments and provides other guidance as needed.

The Social Services Board meets on the third Tuesday of even numbered months at 5:30 p.m. at the Social Service Office, located at the Caroline County Community Services Center (2nd Floor).

If you are interested in serving as the Mattaponi District representative to the Social Services Board, please fill out the form together with a brief description of why you are interested in serving on the Board and any qualifications or attributes that you believe are of benefit to this position.
